Corporate Social Responsibility at Christie’s Education

As the learning platform for Christie’s, here at Christie’s Education, we believe in the power of art education in society and we endeavor to use our position in the art education sector as a positive force. As such, Christie’s Education offers a variety of programs to support the CSR program at Christie’s. This programme reflects our commitment to operate in an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible manner.

This means that we aim to pursue our educational, environmental and social goals as one.

Art education and art are both central to the Christie’s CSR program and it is the conduit through which Christie’s Education considers our activities vis-à-vis the classroom, workplace, community, and environment.

Currently our staff and students are involved in the following charitable initiatives.

  • Christie’s Education Charitable Trust - A registered charity founded by Christie's Education London to help give financial support to prospective students in need of assistance.
  • Harris Academy Partnership - A programme designed to give students of the Harris Federation an opportunity to experience the art market industry and to learn more about the art world.

  • Summer Media Program - A program facilitates the use of Christie's gallery space to LOVE (Leave Out Violence) for an exhibition over summer.
  • Art World Access Program - A program offered to undergraduate institutions to bring their students to learn more about Christie’s and the Art World.
  • Bespoke lecture donations to charitable auctions.
